A little bit about me...

I was born in Dallas. In addition to Texas, I've lived in Washington, New Mexico, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Connecticut, and California. Somewhere along the way I attended the College of William and Mary and convinced them to give me an English degree.

When I moved to California, I realized that there were actual people who wrote movie trailers. And I wanted to be one of those people. Having no contacts in the industry, I opted for the Andy Dufresne approach. I'm sure you've seen The Shawshank Redemption. And you'll likely recall that Andy wrote a letter a week to secure his prison library. That's just what I did (wrote a letter a week, not secured a prison library). I chose a handful of trailer houses and sent them unsolicited new copy every week. Eventually, somebody caved and gave me a shot.

Since then (2007), I've worked as a freelance copywriter for Buddha Jones, Cimarron Group, Wild Card, Mojo, Simple FIlms, Ignition Creative, mOcean, Mob Scene, the Propeller Group, AV Squad, and NBC.

In my free time, I can be found at the poker table or napping.
